About us
From the roots to the branches of our family tree, camping is in our blood.
Family camping experiences Great Grandad Frank would be proud of!
From Grandad Harry’s camping adventures across 1950s Canada, to Great Grandad Frank’s now-legendary trips to Anderby Creek — remarkably squeezing a family of three and all their kit into a motorbike and sidecar — camping has always been in our blood.
Fast forward a few decades to 1990, and there we were, piling into the old Volvo and racing along the Dorset coast listening Neneh Cherry on the stereo and excitement in the air.
“Camping holidays have always been the thread that ties our family together — from the roots to the branches of our family tree.”
That’s why, when we opened our very own campsite in 2015, it felt completely natural. And since then, we’ve grown alongside the families who return to pitch up with us year after year — often bringing more of their friends along each year. It’s more than just a place to stay. It’s a place where muddy boots dry by the fire pit, where kids ditch the screens and run free, and where strangers become friends under starry skies.
We’ve built a campsite we love — and we hope you’ll love it too
