If you’re a sucker for seaside stays, The Old Airfield campsite, on none other than a 1940s RAF airstrip steeped in history and nostalgia, is only a short distance away from the dramatic shingle beaches of Highcliffe and the picturesque, golden sandy beaches of Mudeford. Perfect for fish & chips and building sandcastles down by the sea!

Sitting just south of the New Forest, you’re perfectly positioned for pretty much anything that takes your fancy; from nature and cycling trails to family picnics, paddling in the nearby streams or building sandcastles on the beach.

At The Old Airfield campsite, you’re greeted by a lush green wonderland just begging to be explored either on foot or on 2 wheels – bring your own bike or hire one and have it delivered to your tent!  

However you decide to fill your days, the kids will be in their element, racing through the woods, building dens, and discovering all sorts of natural treasures. And when it’s time to unwind, you can kick back at your campsite and soak up the tranquil atmosphere, perhaps enjoying a sunset picnic or toasting marshmallows around a crackling campfire.
